my ploop graph

I have stolen this idea from the self-described cynical self indulged toss pots over at the hilarious plooptionary (yes - and they are much better at this than I)

(my) research indicates that any increase in the frequency of googling one's own name correlates directly with a rapid increase in the onset of the above-listed unpleasant personality changes.

Please note: No googlers were harmed in the production of this graph.

Ps - I had to change template again. Pictures just did not fit well on the other one!

Hahaha! Yup, I think there's an awful lot of truth to that! That's so funny.

Love the new look! I'm always tinkering with mine. I get antsy...

And, yeah. How 'bout I accidently publish my comment twice and then comment about publishing my comment twice? The more Brillig, the merrier, I always say. (It's just possible I've been checking my name on Google...hmmm?)

Whenever I google my own name--very little comes up! How depressing! I haven't made my mark in this world [insert uncontrollable sobbing] and now that I've been quoted in three newspapers this week, I have to go by some misspelled name to even get anything! No fame! No fortune for me! The real me... ME ME MEEEEE!!!

What a marvellous graph - the minute I sober up I'll get a link to it on the plooptionary (and I'll also plug your book). Fine work!

Karen - I put 'Karen' into google and loads came up ... all your work with The Carpenters etc ...

Brillig, brillig, brillig!!

Karen - well hardly anything comes up for me either - hence the sobbing! But you will be famous SOON

Ploop - why do you need to be sober???

I googled my name "Andrew Goulding" on Google blog search to see if google had indexed my blogs...and I came upon a post, in which my namesake (somewhere) has ruined Vituperative, a young lady from Adelaide's life.

That was really cool.

If I had anything other than the WORLDS MOST COMMON NAME it might be fun to google myself. But alas, no hits for me. Not about me anyway. Lots of hits about other famous people who have my name....

Unlike Jenn, my name is somewhat unique...except for my sister-in-law, but we won't talk about that. So not much comes up, I realize that in the world of Google, I am nothing, and I sob.

You got me again - ROTF! I just began to Google myself (searching for a good review, perhaps!) and am sad to say it's become an obsession. I can tell you at any given moment EXACTLY how many hits "Destiny by Design" + "Wylie Kinson" will bring up.

Or maybe I should try writing something new!
